This vibrant green, creamy, garlicky dip is sure to be one of your staples for happy hour or for a quick healthy snack while on the go.
Packed full of protein, fibre and iron from the chickpeas and spinach you can’t go wrong when you pair it with some crunchy veggie sticks or to finish off a middle eastern dish. It’s so quick and easy to pull together to make, you won’t go back to shop bought after making your own!
- 1/2 cup cooked or tinned chickpeas
- Handful baby spinach
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1, 1/2 spoons tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- Juice of 1/2 lemon or a good squeeze
It’s as easy as blitzing them all the ingredients in an electric blender or in a handheld chopper like my Tupperware QuickChef, or cheaper version which you can get from Kmart. Add more oil or water if it isn’t blending together properly.
